This past weekend, Clinton competed in Road to the Horse in Lexington, Kentucky and had a great time working with his colt, Four Roan Papa, while educating the audience about how he starts colts to be safe, willing partners. Clinton and the gelding made good progress throughout the two-day event, but ultimately Nick Dowers and his colt earned the championship title. “Going into Road to the Horse, my number one goal was to educate the audience and share the Method with them. I feel confident that I accomplished that goal and am proud of the job I did with my horse. He was a great horse and tried his best. I enjoyed working alongside Richard Winters and Nick Dowers — I have the utmost respect for both men as horsemen. Nick deserved to win the event; he did a phenomenal job with his colt,” Clinton says. “I’d also like to thank all of the fans who supported me; I can’t do what I do without you.”

A highlight of the event was the training demonstration Clinton did with his 3-year-old stud and NRHA Futurity hopeful, Titan. Since the release of the YouTube series “Titan: A Legend in the Making,” the stud has become a fan-favorite, and the event marked his first public appearance away from the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch.
