We’re on the road to Du Quoin, Illinois for this weekend’s Walkabout Tour being held at the State Fairgrounds. Doors open at 8 a.m. for NWC members and 8:15 a.m. for general admission.
Attendees will watch Clinton and his Certified Clinicians work with four local problem horses that are spooky, fearful, disrespectful and dangerous. Clinton walks the audience through the steps he takes to fix problem behavior and how he starts the Method. Besides demonstrations that focus on re-educating horses, you’ll also witness inspiring displays of the highest levels of horsemanship that include advanced riding maneuvers and liberty work.

While the weekend offers the best in horsemanship education, Clinton’s Aussie wit and personality ensure it’s entertaining and motivating as well. No matter your level of horsemanship, you’ll walk away inspired to reach your horsemanship dreams. And if you’re lucky, you’ll also leave the tour with free training equipment and tools. Thanks to Clinton’s generosity and our sponsors, the clinician hands out over $9,000 in product giveaways.

You’ll also have the chance to support Saddle Up For St. Jude, a nonprofit fundraiser that sends all its proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Saddle Up For St. Jude will be heading up the Ritchie Charity Ball Toss, so be sure to buy a tennis ball or two from the group to support their mission and be in the running for product giveaways!

For a complete schedule of the weekend’s events, check out our Walkabout Tour website. We hope to see you there!
