DEMO Horses
Downunder Horsemanship is looking for fearful, disrespectful or spooky problem horses, horses with general control problems, and horses that you’ve tried training using The Method® but need some help in areas.
Is your horse a good fit
Demo horses must be under 10 years of age, and are needed for the following demonstrations:
Colt Starting
One 3-hour demonstration & one 1.5-hour demonstration
Problem Trailer Loading
One 1.25-hour demonstration
Gaining Respect and Control on the ground
One 1-hour demonstration
Riding with Confidence
One 1.25-hour demonstration
Before Applying
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the fee structures and accomodations.
Fees
There is a $140 one-time, non-refundable deposit for Downunder Horsemanship to use your horse in the demonstration regardless of how much the horse is used. The $140 is payable upon confirmation that your horse is selected.
Schedule
All horses must arrive at the facility between 9 a.m. and noon on Friday, and will be released at the end of the day Sunday once the demonstrations are over.
Accomodations
Stalls will be available at the facility. Rates vary by state and facility. All horse owners are responsible for their own feed and shavings and care of their horses.
