Area about 3 miles north of Fair Grounds is Roseville, In that area there are 5 hotels.

This is just off Highway 35 and County Road C in Roseville is close to Holiday Inn Express. Some information shows them sharing the same phone number but I have a different number now for the Holiday Inn Express

Days Inn, Radisson, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn and Motel 6 are within a mile of each other

County Inns and Suite 2905 N Snelling 651-628-3500 This hotel is an easy drive north on Snelling. The main gate fair ground entrance is on Snelling

Now for the hotels closer to the fair grounds. These are both close to each other and would be a walking distance to the fair grounds. It would be a little over a mile but not an impossible walk.

Midway Motel 901 Snelling Ave 651-646-4584, this is a room and your car parked outside your door. It is the closest and a very easy walk to the event. You can see the coliseum from outside the motel.
