I agree, this is a great group and I get excited reading everyone’s posts. The colt starting will be good for my colt, but we are also staying for the academy, so she will have a completely different mind by the time we come home. Had a great time working on trailer loading today. NO problem loading, she jumped right on, but wouldn’t you know it, she liked the trailer so much she wouldn’t come off. After an hour, I took the lead rope off and thought she would figure it out on her own. She did come out on her own, after she figured out how to turn around and walk out. Took about 30 seconds. Not sure it was the right thing, but she came out and then we did some work on a bridge walking on and backing off. Hopefully the next session won’t take so long and we can manage to back off. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
