I have a question, when you bring your colts for the academy to use, how does that work? I have always trained my own. So what is the procedure for that? Or do you just enroll your horse as an academy horse and they train it? Is that how that works? They keep it for 6 weeks and train it in the program. Is that about $4,000.00 for the training and boarding? I just wasn’t sure if it was a different deal or the same as just enrolling your horse in the academy. Seems like I was told a long time ago you had to get on a list that it would take some time.
Ashley, I think that’s great. I wish you all the best with your time at DUH. I have a friend there now, Peter Pearce that’s doing the 3 year program too. He’s an awesome guy. He loves it. Also, Sarah is there too. She is in the academy too. They are both AWESOME youngsters starting there careers and I’m sure you will all get along just great. Sarah has been working in the warehouse for the past year and working for DUH. Peter just started in March. It’s hard work but they love it and have learned sooooo much. I made both of them sign my hat last year and told them have to sign it again when they graduate. So, you will have to do the same. I will bring that same hat with me.
Later all, going ride and work some horses. It’s Saturday so I can play.
