Just got back from the Des Moines tour. It was a wonderful experience and I would like to thank Clinton and his staff for re-energizing my horse passion. This spring I traded my 13 year old QH for a 5 year old, unbroke, Tennessee Walker. I am 53 years old and this is my first experience at breaking a horse. I started 3 months ago by picking and choosing techniques that I saw on the Downunder Horsemanship shows on RFD TV and to date have not had a bad experience. Even though my experience has been positive, I felt I was missing steps in the process. I then became a No Worries club member a couple months ago. This answered a few more questions and this weekend I bought the fundamentals kit. I am hoping to purchase the saddle in December as the cut outs around the stirup leathers is ideal for my short legs. The less bulk in that area the better so I can actually get a leg on my horse. I am super excited to get started again and fill in the gaps in my horses (and my) training. I hope everyone else had as good a time as I did and that the event served to re-energize your horse passions as well.
Sincerely,
Ann
