All the preparation Clinton did with Fats on the ground made for a great under saddle lesson this afternoon. He focused on teaching the gelding One Rein Stops and the Cruising Lesson. When Fats got a little tired, he did get lazy and kick up in protest when Clinton asked him to canter. But, after Clinton gave Fats a couple of quick spanks with the end of the mecate, the gelding ended the session by moving forward freely.
