For the last 2 weeks I have been watching all the tour videos in the video library. I think they are great! I love the lay out, set up and the humor. I love hearing about all his success with getting the method out to us. I am grateful for the academy students that can now reach us little guys out in the world.
Now, I am the average horse person. I have one average used horse trailer, a plain bridle (CA loop reins with spanker), 1 crappy saddle and 1 sweet saddle, and one average buckskin QH mare. I am nothing special?. I bet there are a lot of people just like me. I am a wife, mother, office worker just like everyone else that wants to be around horses!
But?? There is one thing that I am not average at. One thing that I do better than any of my peers! That is Downunder Horsmanship. I have the best horse around these parts. She is well mannered and safe to be around. I have put a lot of hard work, sweat and tears into her. She got that way by me using the DUH method with her.
I guess what I would like to see at the tours now is some success stories from ?real? people. Those people that have worked their butts off to create a great horse with the method! I know that we share that here on the No Worries Club, but what about those people that are not members? Some more may join if they knew you didn?t have to be Clinton to do what he does. I love how Clinton works with his horses and does all that cool riding and liberty. When I get on my horse, I feel like that?s how I look too. How many of us are at that level with the method? I would say not many.
I want to see a real person out there in the arena at a tour with their average breed horse playing through the method. I want to hear their stories about success and failing. How many of us average people have the guts to stand out there and tell our DUH stories?
