I sent a PM to Mary Jo this morning who I understand is the person at DUH who coordinates the Volunteers. With it being only 3 weeks away, I would have thought we would know yes or no by now. It isn’t a biggie for me (retired) but I know for some people, they need to request time off from work, find farm sitters, make travel and lodging accomodations, etc. Perhaps in the future they will have a one month in advance deadline. Not to complain and I am going either way, either to be in the stands or behind the scenes, but I applied many moons ago and have been waiting and waiting…
