My and DH have been planning for months (since march I think) to attend the Madison tour. We ordered our tickets in April. My hubby put in his request for vacation a MONTH ago. And I find out that his boss DENIED it! He can’t have the days off.. Mind you, he has the time available.
So now my weekend with DUH may be ruined. His inability to have to days off would not be a problem, but we live 8 hours away from WI. We were going to stay with some friends which would still not be a problem. But I don’t know if I can make the eight hour drive alone. Usually I drive the first half, then he drives the second half. He gets the Chicago part.
Chicago is the main thing I worry about. The second thing is driving for eight hours straight. I HATE driving. Traffic does not usually bother me, but Chicago makes me nervous. I have near panic attacks even being the passenger going through Chicago. Which is usually why I try and make sure I’m asleep before we go through. lol
