If you compared the way Cisco entered the arena today to how he came in yesterday, you’d have a hard time believing he was the same horse. But he sure is, and he remembered yesterday’s lesson well. Clinton spent the first part of the demo reviewing the Fundamentals exercises he taught the gelding yesterday.
Then he went straight into teaching him new exercises like Circle Driving, Yield the Forequarters, Backing Up and Sidepassing on the Fence. Just like yesterday, the Quarter Horse gelding picked up the exercises quickly and tried hard.
Clinton finished the demo by turning off his mike and just working with Cisco. Les cranked up Aretha Franklin’s RESPECT, and we all set back and watched Clinton and Cisco dance around the arena. After the exhibition, Clinton turned his mike back on and asked the audience to give the gelding a big hand for his performance.
Cisco is turning into such a good horse; we’re excited to see the riding demo.
