Double check with DUH if you NEED to have a health certificate since you are traveling in-state. They are required by law for horses being transported across state lines. Normally, a Health Certificate is valid for 30 days.
It is most ‘helpful’ to have a helper, although not required. In the 10-day Fundamentals, you get pushed so hard, you really do get utterly exhausted and having a spare set of legs and arms is almost a neccesity. I don’t know if the “Confidence Building” clinic people will be pushed to the edge of physical exhaustion like that. It’s great if you have someone to help with the drive and while you are there, but not essential.
