The Ultimate Method Ambassador

Summer Davis is the Ultimate Method Ambassador! Ambassador is the perfect term to describe Summer as she completely represents the values, principles and focus of Downunder Horsemanship. I am a crusty old soldier with almost 30 years of service all over the world and VERY little surprises or impresses me, but this young lady did!

We had our second clinic with Summer at our farm over Mother’s Day weekend. That was the time that worked best for us, and she didn’t hesitate to leave her own mother to share her excellence with our group. Summer exudes confidence in the Method, possesses infectious positivity and is the consummate professional representative of Clinton and the Method. She is a true horseperson with the love and passion for her craft that many of us aspire to.

She is thorough in presenting the techniques so that even my completely novice 31-year-old daughter was wielding a stick and string with confidence and riding a young gelding at a trot for two hours without concern. Summer bolstered my wife’s confidence to get on a big willful mare that she had taken a bad fall from and she simply had the time of her life moving that big bay’s feet!

There is no coddling from Summer, but she is still totally supportive and has acute acumen about how to coax the best from her students. Summer pushed us but still focused on what we wanted to accomplish as individuals and as a group.

We believe in the Method, and I have applied it on my own with limited success. I have heard Clinton say the best way to advance is to attend a clinic or have a clinician work directly with you. Unsurprisingly, when it comes to the Method, he is absolutely right! Anyone wanting to really learn the Method should work with a certified clinician, and if you want the very best, then you should try to get Ultimate Method Ambassador Summer Davis!
